Week 4 of 52 in 2018

Jackson and Connor: Besides being week 4, it was also the week that Michael was away in Orlando, FL for  a conference.  We had thought about taking the boys and making it a vacation (spending time with Mickey and pals) but the boys decided that they'd rather stay home.  Connor was concerned about schoolwork and not getting enough time with Michael since he had a busy schedule.

We went to a mid-week showing of Paddington 2, which couldn't have been cuter.  A bear with a British accent that ends up in jail is just too good.  He's super cute compared to how much Hugh Grant has aged.

The boys reluctantly went to the airport to pick Michael up on Saturday.  That hug confirms how happy that they were to see him and waiting an extra hour for him to get home from the airport would have been too long.

Week 3 of 52 in 2018

Jackson:  Both boys have been really into reading mysteries and they've been recently introduced to more characters and this apparently has inspired Jackson to make a poster about a detective agency that he wants to start.  It may have to be the Clue Brother as Connor is not as excited about this adventure... I am making sure to keep an eye on it as I don't want it circulating the neighborhood, ha!

Connor:  One last picture in front of our real Christmas Tree that is still around. He was a helper and we worked on putting the ornaments away.

Week 2 of 52 in 2018

Jackson:  He has really been making good progress in his Developmental Lacrosse program at Coppermine.  He never complains to go t here and I think that's because of Coach Jordan and he's starting to actually catch balls while playing wall ball and when passes are being thrown to him.  Every week, Connor and I try to stay as warm as possible. I don't know if there's heat in the building but sometimes it's warmer to be outside.

Connor:  Math has absolutely changed since both Michael and I were in school and it's proved to be an issue in our house.  There's been inconsistent grading between the boys' teachers, which doesn't make it any easier.  Lucky for us, I'm starting to understand how to show my work and Connor is happy to practice.

Week 1 of 52 in 2018

Jackson:  It was back to school for our boys and Kermit (Ms. Siuta's mascot) was going back too after a long holiday.  We had to pose one last time with the frog who always reminds us that it's not easy being green.

Connor: Indoor soccer season has started and Connor was decided to take over goal keeping responsibilities for the team for  Jackson.  He has good hands and played well in the goal.  It's clear that our team is going to struggle but the boys are having fun and getting some energy out.
