Towson Presbyterian : Butterfly Release

The boys' class had been taking care of some caterpillars in hopes that they would eventually turn into butterflies.  After getting picked up from school, the boys would provide an update on the caterpillars.

Prior to leaving for the field trip to the Baltimore Museum of Art, the class was able to participate in the release.  Their teacher prided them on their care of their caterpillars and relayed that a lot of the caterpillars in the other classes didn't make it because the kids were being too rough with them.

Saying good bye to their butterfly.

Jackson is obviously overjoyed with excitement.  He wanted to run with the butterflies...

Such an amazing experience for the kids to watch the caterpillar turn into a butterfly. It will definitely be something that they will never forget about their time with Ms. Burton and Mrs. Bayne.
