Jackson and Connor: We are still waiting for a directive from BCPS on what is going to happen with distance learning and whether or not the boys will be returning to school. We've kept busy with learning about famous women during Women's History month and finishing up the extra match pages from their Envision math books. They are so "thrilled" to do more addition and subtraction, ha!! Their principal suggested a spirit week schedule and we happily obliged with PJ day (this wasn't hard because we are spending a lot of time in pajamas lately) and Red White and Blue day.
Jackson: Jackson had his first Zoom with his KP Club lacrosse team. He had the best time seeing his buddies. We are going to start setting these up with some friends from school.
On Friday, we needed a couple of items for our dinner and the Michael and Jackson voluntarily decided to bike over to Eddie's. It was such a nice treat and super helpful. And, another win because they had some dad/son bonding time. We just need Connor to give in and try to ride a bike so he can join them. Eventually, he we will realize that it's more fun to be part of the group than the potential to fall.
Connor: The boys aren't big fans of art but we've recently discovered Mo Willem's lunch doodles. Jackson is meh about it but Connor has been enjoying himself. One of my favorites from this week:
