It will probably take awhile for Jackson and Connor to learn how to properly celebrate New Years but we didn't want our hospital stay to stop them from celebrating their first big holiday.
What big things we expect to see in 2010. As far as we know, they only made it until 10:30 p.m. but we could only imagine what kind of partying was going on in the nursery!! What fun the nurses must have had that night.
We are scheduled to be discharged tomorrow and are totally terrified. We may or may not have asked if we could just pay to stay in the hospital a couple days longer. There was a lot of discussion about having a support system in tact and it really resonated with me that we REALLY didn't have much organized. Obviously, we would have visitors and the sitters were set up once I was returning to work but the day to day taking care of the boys was our responsibility and especially for their mom, who could barely walk until yesterday, it was a daunting task.
But, for these two cuties, we will figure it out.
