Prior to the boys' arrival, I had some holiday decorations but realized that since it is not about Michael or I any more, we needed to step things up and try to maintain some level of tact. But, when your toddler who has a limited vocabulary learns very quickly how to say Ghooooost, all bets are off.
And, the attempts on maintaining no tacky decoration are fully out the window when they realize that they can be staged on their alphabet train or fire truck ride-on because that is just how a toddler thinks and who are we to tell him that it is wrong.
or, if they need to carry all of them.
or, if they are wiling to admire them for a second in their costume.
and, sometimes they need a hug!?! or pull of the horns.
they knew the difference between Frankenstein and Dracula but they were definitely not said as clearly or with as much enthusiasm/exaggeration as Ghoooost.
