2012 Rehoboth Beach Vacation {Day 3}

On our 3rd day, we headed to the pool with Uncle Tony and Aunt Gina for our last day with them.  Connor did a lot of sitting in the chair and went off on several "riffs" as we affectionately refer to them.

Jackson continued showing off his abilities with his turtle.

After waking up from their nap and having dinner, we treated the boys to a bath in jetted tub in our master bathroom.  Obviously, they enjoyed themselves.

We got dressed to head out to Funland to get our rides on.  Clearly, the excitement continued.

First up was the train of vehicles.

Then, off to the swings. It still amazes me how much wind that this ride can make and how compact the ride is despite the amount of speed that the swings actually get.  Despite my concern that the boys are are going to fly off each.and.every.time., I still oblige them and they are so happy for it.

Off to the firetrucks....

Next up was another ride that had us questioning whether or not it was a good choice for the boys due to the speed BUT, despite the fact that Connor looks a little concerned, he L-O-V-E-D it!!! And, as you can see, Jackson had to be taken out (almost by force) because he enjoyed it so much.  They even rode it a second time.

The fighter planes and all their noise were up and this year, the boys actually were figuring out how to maneuver the plane and make the noises with the rest of the riders.

After the fighter planes, we moved on to the boats and recalling back to last year and Jackson's intense desire to stick his hand in the water actually had me second guessing whether or not it was a good idea to even put them on the ride.

But, a year older means water isn't as much of a temptation at least not on this go round the water.

The boys were off in separate directions.  Jackson opting for the games and Connor with his obsession with riding the horsies on the carousel.

Recognizing that it was time to explore the more advanced rides, we went with the helicopters.  The helicopter's height was adjusted by the rider and we were naive enough to think that the boys wouldn't be able to figure out how to make the helicopters go up and down.  Jackson figured it out immediately and Connor followed to never be left that far behind.

Last up for the night were the tea cups. Michael ended up joining them which was necessary to avoid the boys from sliding in to one another.
