Connor's 1st Flush

Connor has been SUPER obsessed with Jackson and his potty training. He gets incredibly up close and personal and I feel so uncomfortable for Jackson even though he doesn't seem to mind.  His own efforts on the potty have been non-existent.  He is very willing to sit but it never ever ends up resulting in any results.  Once we started putting Jackson in actual underwear, Connor's level of interest has drastically increased but with minimal results.

We are using a reward system of Legos as he has been consumed with the idea of them.  There is a specific set that he wants and if he actually goes on the potty 10 times, he gets the set.

Michael randomly decided to give in to Connor on his request to wear the underwear, which I was really worried about one morning as ALL odds were stacked against me with having both boys in underwear and it being spring break.

We FINALLY had a breakthrough -- Connor told us he had to go potty. I've had a feeling for a long time that he knew when he had to go but he just didn't want to deal with it. But, as he knows "you gotta try because you never know" and the end result of getting the legos is worth more than the control.

He went pee and it was finally his turn to dump it and flush.  This is apparently a big thing for boys and who am I to get in the way.   And, he's watched Jackson do it hundreds of times and get pushed out of the way when he tried.

He carried it to the basement bathroom and didn't trip! WIN!!! On, to the dumping part.

And, the flush.  He had two accidents after but is communicating more about having to go. Hopefully, he will get his Legos soon.
