Easter Cookie Decorating and Crafting

Shortly after dinner, we decided to put Frozen in to give the adults some time to clean up and get the cookies ready.  After the kids finished watching Frozen, they came up for cookie decorating and crafts.  They each had a plate of 2 bunnies, carrots and daisies.

There were lots of decorating options and they had a lot of fun. The cookies were delicious.

Sprinkling with his left hand.

Love the look on Mary Elizabeth's face as she grabs the tiny sugar bunnies and determines proper placement.

Connor definitely ate a TON of the decorations but we'll forgive him.

And, sprinkling with his right hand.  He doesn't discriminate when it comes to applying cookie decorations.

And, the cute facial expressions continue.

After cookie decorating, we moved on to crafts.   Each of the kids did three foam sticker eggs.  The pictures of Jackson and Mary Elizabeth were blurry and it was late.  Jackson is very particular with details and wanted to match the picture of the eggs as exact as he could.  Often times, he will move through something to just get it done or sit and stare at a craft project but he really likes the stickers that he has to peel the backings off.  It is definitely a proud parent moment when you find something that he actually likes to do in the craft department and see the detail that he takes in completing his masterpieces.
