National Zoo : Arrival and Pachyderm Plaza

After some calculated planning the gift of beautiful weather and a nice drive, we arrived at the National Zoo.  The boys were ready to get out and explore as were there parents.

While Connor checked out the map to plan our route, Jackson worked Michael for popcorn. 

The decision was made to visit the elephants in their Pachyderm Plaza.  We were kind of disappointed with the number of elephants but realized later that they were just out of view.
