Soccer Shots

We enrolled the boys in Soccer Shots with their friends from school on Tuesday nights for a 1/2 hour of fun. The focus is for insight into soccer moves and teamwork.  It is not about scoring goals and winning or loosing.  The added joy of being able to do it with friends was just an added plus.

Their coach introduced herself and started the boys and the rest of their team with some quick stretches.

They discussed soccer island, not touching the ball with their hands, some dribbling and practiced control position.

They had a great time and were even given the instruction of sitting on the ball.  Connor will often struggle with coordination so it was great to see him be able to show his control position and actually sit on the ball.

We started to leave and couldn't locate Jackson and he had ON HIS OWN gone back to thank his coach.   Another moment when you know that you are doing something right and reassurance that our 4 year old who likes to wander wasn't lost.
