Winter ONEderland : Decorations

After some searching on Etsy, we decided on the Winter ONEderland theme. The boys made it through multiple blizzards after they were born and when combined with the snow just prior to delivering them, the most snow that Maryland has ever seen so it seemed fitting.

The invitations had multiple colors of blues with penguins and snowmen.  We offered a dessert bar of oven baked s'mores, brownies and cupcakes and a hot chocolate bar with all of the fixings for the under 21 and the over 21 guest.

For favors, the boys helped pick up coordinating blue M&Ms. Our original idea of doing rice krispies in the shapes of either a snowman or penguin didn't really work but the M&Ms were perfect for the attendees.

The boys totally fell for the balloons.

The balloon fun continued after the party and they were so happy that they were sitting around and easily accessible.  Obtaining the number of balloons that we had in our heads were necessary was quite the ordeal.  It took over an hour at Party City to get them blown up (note to self -- order ahead) and we almost had to leave something behind in the parking lot in order to get that many home.

Connor didn't let Jackson have all of the fun.

A couple of happy boys that are turning into toddlers whether we are ready for them too or not.
