Dinner: Hibachi style

Upon arrival in Culpeper, we were notified of Uncle Chuck's plan for a Japanese steak house dinner.  We were a little uncertain but gathered up some toddler-friendly food and decided to go with it. It was actually the boys' 2nd time to a hibachi place but their 1st time when they were able to eat the food.

Jackson covers his ears and eyes whenever he is concerned about something and the fire definitely concerned him. He had seen it on another table and started to look away and bury his head into my shoulders.  For as adventurous as he is, he is very cautious about dangerous or risky things. It is amazing how perceptive he can be about things and how spot on he is when it comes to a bad moment in a movie that Connor just smiles at as if the devil-named cat, Lucipher, is a good pet.

Connor looking on in anticipation of what was going to happen next after scanning the menu in anticipation of the chef's festivities that were about to begin.

Jackson was concerned about the fire and kept on looking around to make sure that it wasn't going to happen in front of him.  Although, he was still very interested with what was going on.

Connor was SOOO excited about the chef's egg work that he cheered him on and actually tried the eggs that he made for the fried rice and enjoyed them!
