Symphony of Lights

We had hopes to walk through the Symphony of Lights for their 3rd time but the traffic on 695 had different ideas.  There were 3 disables vehicles and no weather impediments that lead to double the travel time.  We arrived at the time that we needed to exit the parking lot for the walking option.

So, we decided to drive through the lights although the boys struggled with this. Jackson repeatedly asked for me to stop the car for a car parking spot lot, which is apparently 4 year old talk for a parking spot.  He was upset but there is nothing that we could do as sometimes the traffic is not our friend.

Connor in his seat after experiencing a difficult car ride when he was assuming that the cars on the road's headlights were the only lights he would see for an hour and a half.  Once we reached the lights, we were at the wrong entrance and had to drive by them.  He was certain we weren't going to see the lights.

This was his cheese when we were finally in line!

The presents were great because Jackson has been asking for green and red gifts.  He never identifies what he wants in them rather just the box.

The penguins are always adorable.

Connor confirmed that the igloo and polar bear were his favorites.

Frosty the Snowman waving hello.

These ducks look similar to the ducklings in Make Way For Ducklings.  Connor told me that it was Jack, Kack, Lack, and Mack and their mom.  There weren't enough to have all of the ducklings but it was still adorable.

The coach and horses were Jackson's favorite.

Jackson also really liked how many reindeer that were on display and loved that this one had an elf.

As we exited, the toy factory was very bright and colorful and the polar bear waved to us letting us know our ride was over.

We headed over to the mall for dinner and found the Christmas decorations at Sears.

After dinner at the Chick and saying Hi to Santa, we stopped at the Carousel for a ride.

Since Jackson got a pretzel once we arrived at the mall, Connor waited very patiently (for him) to get his frappucino.
