Tree Trim

We had a request from our neighbors to remove the dead limbs from our humongous maple and we happily obliged.  Clear Tree came out early to get the work started and we definitely had some supervisors on the inside of the house.

We watched the workers as they set up their rope system and started to maneuver around our tree, which spans our house and three other neighbors.  Needless to say, it is humongous and there were a considerable amount of dead limbs and general clean up to clean it out and reduce the bulkiness.

After several cuts were made, it was time for the tree trimmer to get in on the action. This probably provided as much excitement as the men climbing in the trees.  We were  watchiing with serious intent to see all the moves that the men were going to make.  It was quite a process to see how all of the ropes moved from limb to limb and that the workers were so graceful in their movements.

As the last of the workers dropped to the ground, we continued to follow the workers as they moved heavy limbs out to the alley to be processed further and moved through the wood chipper.   The end result was just beautiful and definitely a fun way to spend a morning.
