Off to see Mickey the Mouse at the Castle on their 1st Airplane Ride

Deciding to go to Disney with the boys was an easy decision except for when it came down to the idea of driving or flying.  Michael was INCREDIBLY concerned about the flight. He was certain that they would do fine with the park BUT the airplane was what almost made him say no.

It didn't get off to a good start when we received our assignment and they had three of us together and one of the boys in another aisle and not adjoining.  I spoke to someone at AirTran and they were not able to help me and directed that I could speak with someone at the airport.  Apparently, the only open aisles were the emergency aisles and 3 year olds are not allowed to sit there.

The boys were so excited that they were going to the Castle that it took an incredibly long time for them to relax and get to sleep.  Connor even mumbled before Michael left the room -- "Daddy, please don't forget to take me to the Castle."  Heart melting.

We awoke early ready for whatever the day was going to present to us.  In our bags was our breakfast so we headed to the airport parking and took the shuttle over to the airport.  The boys were so excited on the ride over.

The transfers through the airport worked out well and they entertained everyone in the security line. Both boys listened when we asked for them to remain seated.  They were in awe of the size of the airport and loved the ability to see the airplanes.  Over the prior summer, we drove Marc to the airport and Jackson kept on repeating "I ride the airplane" and it was ever since that time that I was certain that it was time to take the boys.

We arrived and the attendant completely helped us out and set us up in First Class. It was the most amazing thing that could have happened to us.  The boys did a fantastic job.  We had borrowed an iPad so both boys had that to occupy themselves, coloring books, books and snacks.
