Walt Disney World Day 3 {Animal Kingdom : Pictures with Characters}

The boys were hitting their stride with character  pictures.

A favorite movie of theirs for years has been the Lion King and despite the need to take a train to get there, Planet Watch with Rafiki was on our list of must dos in the animal kingdom. The boys loved the train ride and the reward of being able to see Rafiki was just a bonus.

 A family shot with the Fikster.

Connor gave him one of his lines "Look beyond what you see" and was promptly rewarded with a kiss on the head.  He was SUPER happy with himself.

After lunch and on our way over to Camp Minnie and Mickey for more Character Greetings, we spotted Dug and Russell.  The boys had never seen UP! and only knew of them from watching the Christmas parade on repeat but the line was short so we went for it.

Connor cringes when he sees this picture of Doug licking him.

Jackson was trying to help Russell "organize" his camp badges.

Once we arrived in Camp Minnie and Mickey, we stopped off for a potty break once we realized that Chip and Dale needed to use the facilities too.

Not certain but I think that Dale was making fun of Jackson's knuckle biting...

And, after poking fun at Jackson, he was playing hide and seek.

We moved on to the next line to check in with Donald.

Jackson continued with the inappropriate grabbing and touching and Donald decided to grab a hold of his hand.

Michael was more than happy to get in the picture as Donald is his favorite.

The boys only knew King Louie and Baloo from watching a portion of the movie but were happy to see the animals.

They definitely were concerned with Baloo's height and he was kind enough to drop down to their height and King Louie was super engaging and worked Jackson.

Louie's hard work paid off and he ended up getting a high five from Jackson.

This was the highlight of the Characters for Connor.  He had been asking to get a picture with her since we arrived.   Apparently, she can be hard to find.  Her safari outfit made him very happy too.

He was so happy and told her that she was his favorite.
