12 Days of Mistletoe Mischief

Since we decided to do 12 days of Mistletoe, most of the days involved Mischief.

On day 1, Mistletoe was staring outside wondering what he had gotten himself into.  Day 2 had him helping himself to a cup a coffee as the boys had a bad listening day AND he was up with Santa extra late trying to figure out what to do.  On Day 3, we were heading out to Hershey Park for Candy Lane Christmas so he figured out that he could take a ride or two on their choo choo train.

Day 4 may have been Connor's favorite of them all when Mistletoe laid a trail of Hershey Kisses after our day in Hershey guiding them to him hanging out in our dining room light fixture.  On Day 5, Mistletoe was slightly hard to find in the tree with his candy cane.   Mistletoe decided to do some fishing for goldfish on Day 6,  which was another favorite.

On Day 7, Mistletoe enjoyed a marshmallow bubble bath near the door since he likes the cool air.  Another hard to find spot was hanging on the door on Day 8 (another late night taking to Santa about some not so great listening).  Mistletoe was tired of waiting for us to get our act together and made the boys some Mickey cookies on Day 9.  They relate cookies to the timer so it was only fitting that he was keeping a close eye on the oven.

Keeping up with his penchant for hanging upside down, Mistletoe set up a zipline in the bathroom on Day 10.  On Day 11, he was reading to all of the Snowmen from the Snowmen at Night book.  Sadly on Day 12, Mistletoe left us a note confirming what we knew all along and that it was time for him to go back to  and I quote from Connor "go back to the North Pole to help all the other elves and Santa get ready for Christmas.

Overall, the boys had a great time with their Elf and we are definitely going to be able to do more next year.  They did fairly well with the not touching especially after their Dad understood how he could loose his magic...

We will be looking for him to return maybe a little earlier for some more fun.  Good Bye Mistletoe and tell Santa that Jackson and Connor said Hi!
