Christmas eve treat - Chick Fil A Santa Cow

After a 3 hour (yes 3 hour) trip to Patient First, it was past lunch time and we asked the boys what they wanted and Connor responded with Chick Fil A. He now asks for it by name.  Both boys gave us the run down of what they want --- chicken nuggets, french fries, bread and Connor asks for pickles.

Instead of heading up to Cockeysville, I suggested the Mall and Michael cringed due to the potential for a rather large number of people and their last minute shopping. Luckily for our cow loving fanatics, he gave in even though we had no idea what we were going to find.

We saw him as we got ready to get on the elevator.   Connor couldn't get down to the food court fast enough UNTIL he did get close enough and realized how big he was.

Sizing up the cow as Connor is complacent enough to wave hi!

Getting a mini-cow from the cow himself.

Connor contemplating whether or not he is going to get any closer. The cow was kind enough to get down to one knee...

Jackson is FULL ON loving every minute and Connor has totally warmed up especially with the idea of a present.

Saying good bye to the cow and Jackson giving him a hug and a high five.  While we were eating, the boys kept a keen eye on the cow as he wandered through the food court and were adamant about saying good-bye to him again.

It was very exciting to see them so happy after all of the snot running out of their nose and ours the past week or so.  Hopefully, we are are ALL on the road to recovery before the big guy shows up tonight!!

Sometimes-- things work out even after the chaos and frustration that was a 3 hour doctor wait with antsy toddlers.
